Yorkshire Terrier Puppies

Yorkshire Terrier puppies are one of the most popular choices as Yorkies are full of energy, playful, adventurous and make wonderful companions.  Yorkshire Terriers are known to bark a bit.  Yorkies may not be the best pet for families with young children as they are susceptible to injury.  Yorkies make good apartment dogs but still need regular walks and games to stay healthy.  They shouldn't be left outside as they are sensitive to extremes in temperature.  Yorkshires are very trainable but can be stubborn and will challenge much larger dogs.  Yorkshire Terriers are somewhat fragile and only grow to between 7 and 9 inches in height and weigh less than seven pounds.  Special attention needs to be made to their diet.  Yorkies need regular brushing and teeth cleaning.  However, they do not shed as their coats are hair rather than fur.  The following videos illustrate several examples of Yorkshire Terrier puppies.
