Siberian Husky
puppies are energetic, playful and sociable pets known for
their wolflike appearance. But Siberians are
not aggressive and perhaps not even good guard dogs
because they bark little and are friendly even with
strangers. Siberian Huskies thrive on
companionship from their owners and other household
dogs (ideally a Husky but not a cat) and thus it is best to not
leave them alone for long periods. Known for their strong
work ethic as sled dogs, Siberian Huskies love to run and are
fond of cold weather but aren't best for warmer climates.
Make sure they get plenty of intense exercise. Be aware
that Siberian Huskies like to dig. Siberians grow to
between 20 and 24 inches in height and will weigh 35 to 60
pounds. Siberians are trainable but have an
independent streak. Siberian Huskies have a thick coat
which protects them from the cold but needs litle grooming
except during their semi-annual shedding. Health concerns
include hip and eye problems The following videos
illustrate several examples of Siberian
