Poodle puppies
come in three sizes - standard, miniature and toy.
The Standard Poodle grows to over 15 inches (averaging
22-27 inches) at the shoulder while the Miniature Poodle grows
to between 10 and 15 inches high and the Toy Poodle is under 10
inches in height. Poodles are a highly intelligent, very
trainable breed known for its showing ability.
Poodles are friendly and enjoy human
companionship but do bark a bit. The Poodle
has a lot of energy and will need regular exercise.
Note that Poodles enjoy playing in water. Poodles however
need particular attention to grooming (continental clip is
the most common) which includes regular bathing, nail clipping,
teeth scaling and checking the
ears. Fortunately, Poodles don't shed much.
Common health problems with Poodles include bloat, ear
infections, hip and eye complications. The following
videos illustrate several examples of Poodle
puppies.
