Golden Retriever
puppies are one of the most popular family pets as they are
known for their friendly disposition, loyalty, intelligence
and energetic, playful nature. Golden Retrievers are
athletic and fond of water so they need plenty of
exercise which could include games where they
retrieve a ball or frisbee. Golden Retrievers respond
well to obedience training as they are eager to
please. They need regular contact and attention from
their family. Golden Retrievers also make good hunting
dogs as they have a strong sense of smell and love to
swim. Golden Retrievers grow to between 20 and 24 inches
in height and will weigh 55-75 pounds. Common health
concerns for Golden Retrievers include hip, elbow and eye
complications as well as allergies. The Retriever's
coat will need regular brushing and owners should be careful to
not overfeed them as Retrievers are prone to weight
problems. The following videos illustrate several
examples of Golden
Retriever puppies.
