Collie puppies are
a popular choice as they are good with children, known for their loyal and affectionate nature and are easy to
train. Collies were traditionally used as a herding dog and are often used as a rescue dog and guide for the
blind but also make a good family pet. The most famous Collie perhaps was Lassie. Adult
Collies grow to between 22 and 26 inches high, will normally weigh between 50 and 75 pounds and are
long-coated. Collies need regular exercise and brushing (particularly the rough variety) and are sensitive to
heat. Collies can develop eye and hip problems as well as arthritis. The following videos
illustrate several examples of Collie puppies.
