Cocker Spaniel
puppies are popular due to their affectionate and playful
nature. Cocker Spaniels have an affinity for water and
make good hunting companions. Cocker Spaniels are
energetic and need regular exercise and
grooming. The breed is known for its intelligence
and gentleness and long ears, making it a good family
dog. Adult males grow to about 15 inches in height and
can weigh up to 30 pounds. The American Cocker
Spaniel is smaller and has a thicker coat
than its cousin the English Cocker
Spaniel. Cocker Spaniels have a number of common health
issues notably eye and hip problems and allergies. Cocker
Spaniels are very trainable but can be more difficult to
housebreak. The following videos illustrate several
examples of Cocker
Spaniel puppies.
